Scholarship

The Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge foundation will provide a $1,000.00 scholarship for up to 2 applicants for seniors graduating from one of the following schools: John Swett, Willow, Vallejo, Jesse Bethel, Armijo, St. Patricks / St. Vincent, Benicia, Liberty.  Applicants will be required to provide documentation stating that you are enrolled as a full time student with no less than 12 credits along with your most recent report card or transcript with grade point average from your current school.

Please mail your application and essay to Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge, PO Box 106, Crockett, California 94525, postmarked no later than April 30th. 

Please include a single page essay on one of the following topics:

1. What has been the value of the Labor Movement in establishing a safety net for working families?

2. In the past 100 years, who do you consider the most influential Union Labor Leader?

3. Why is Collective Bargaining valuable for workers?

Essay must be in your own words. No plagiarism on your application is acceptable.
